Trade Rules
All commercial and/or blanket traders selling goods at the
Pigeon River Rendezvous are required to pay the appropriate fees. Trader fees are to be
paid with your event registration.
1. A trader is any person(s) who sets up a trade
shelter-lodge or sets out a trade blanket or hide with goods for sale, trade or barter.
2. Trade Blanket - One or more blankets with items for
sale. The fee will be $10.00.
3. Commercial Trader - Anyone who offers goods for sale,
trade or barter with a total value over $1500. The fee will be $30.00.
4. All trade areas shall enrich the event atmosphere.
5. All trade goods (original, hand-crafted, and authentic
reproductions or adaptation) shall conform to all federal, state, county, and city rules
and regulations.
6. Animal parts or protected species that do not conform
with the laws of the State of Wisconsin or with the Federal regulations, shall not be
sold, displayed, or possessed at the event.
7. Taxes: Procurement of all federal, state, county and
city business licenses and or the collection of consumer sales tax in the State of
Wisconsin, is the responsibility of the trader.
