Pioneer Park

Operated by the Clintonville Historical Society. Open Sundays and holidays during the summer, 1-4 pm. The park features:

--History House: a two story frame built in 1861 which housed the first town hall and fire department.

--Doty-Besserdich House: made of cord or stonewood walls with pieces piled on top of each other, held together by mortar.

--Ralph Denn, Stavemaker Cabin: built in 1869 by Ralph Denn to serve as his stave-making factory and home.

--Stone Collection: 8 stones with a remarkable past. They have been gathered from the roads and quarries around Jerusalem, as well as Yellowstone National Park, the Dakota Badlands, and the Arizona Petrified Forest. In the center of the collection stands a section of the Great Wall of China. One of the most unique collections of stones in the United States.
